Children with problem behavior are often punished (by parents, teachers and others), undertake medical treatment or are placed into detention or reeducation centres. These solutions aren't in their best interest. ART is a proven tool for effective help, missing in Slovakia (SR). They suppose, that ART could be successfully implemented in SR as in many other countries.
- Children with problem behavior react negatively. They need to develop social skills and perception, control anger, find constructive solutions, gain ability of moral reasoning. That will help them to be integrated into major society and accept authorities.
- Professionals  (in-house and outside professionals from Navrat, NGO's, state institutions, laymen counselors, volunteers) working with children at risk reflect the need of improvement of their skills for the work with these children and seek effective tools for help.

Forming the group of participants engaged in the issue, motivated to contribute to implementation of ART in SR, who will pledge to apply, prove and adjust the methodology to cultural specifications, promote it in the expert and general public.

From the graduates of ART1 the 4 key professionals will be profiled, who'll implement ARTprogram , cooperate on ART2, network participants and gain the qualification of lectors and opportunity to become supertrainers. After the end of project they'll stay in contact with Norwegian partner, go on networking professionals, surveying their needs, search new opportunities and so grant sustainability of ARTprogram.

Implementation of ART will raise the quality of social services, social and legal protection of children with problem behavior in SR. They'll create the potential for multiplication of the program aimed to help children at risk.

Project goal: Implemantation of the ART program in Slovakia via trained lectors of ART, Family ART in different organisations, realization of ART in children groups, enhancement of the possibilities for multiplication.

Main outcomes of the project:
-          Translation of the instructions of the methodology of the ART program for trainer into Slovak language.
-          40 professionals trained in the courses ART 1 and ART 2
-          Realization of ART program in 8 children groups (40 children)
-          Networking of the professionals (ART trainers) from different organisations in regions working with children at risk.
