Project Summary: Project All in the same boat supported exchange visit of two representatives of the Slovak organization in Reykjavik and stay of three representatives of partner Systkinasmiðjan Iceland - The Icelandic Sibshop in Slovakia.

Visits took place between November 2013 and February 2014. During the two 5 - day stays there were implemented workshops and roundtables aimed at exchanging good practices and experience how to work with people with disabilities, with a focus on supporting families and especially siblings of disabled children. Within the project there was developed and published a series of articles on the topic, and a trip to Iceland was filmed in document. Entirely new system of active participation and working with children and young people was presented to public in Slovakia. In the future, the organization has the objective to gradually improve its system of work with disadvantaged youth and implement training activities for parents, teachers and other similarly oriented NGOs.
