Project Summary:Opening conference was a key communication event at the initial phase of implementation of the program Active citizenship and inclusion. Participation of NGO representatives from donor countries at the conference was aimed at establishing contacts with potential Slovak partners and for development of partnerships.

The role of the Center for community organizingwas to ensure the logistics of the participation of Norwegian partners at the launch event, which was held on 25.02.2013 in Bratislava.
Representatives of three Norwegian NGOs attended the opening conference with the support of a grant: Claudio Maudane , Change the World , Caroline Egar , VOKS for barn / Adults for Children and Susan Guerra , Municipal District Sage Oslo (Community Center).

Participants of the opening event had a wonderful opportunity to listen to interesting presentations of Norwegian NGOs. Several organizations took the opportunity to directly approach the Norwegian participants, establish contacts and set arrangements for cooperation on common applications.
