Help for Children in Danger, civic association, Bratislava

Amount of the grant: 17 082 €

Objective of the project: To ensure professional intervention services for children who are at risk of domestic violence and abuse, as well as to provide an access to information about the issues of child torture, abuse, and neglect for elementary school pupils.

The main outputs of the project:

• Informing elementary school pupils (40) about domestic violence via the above-mentioned tree (2) and leaflets (8,000)
• Finding children with CAN syndrome (40) and providing them will all the essential intervention services
• Providing individual psychological intervention services and help to children (30)
• Providing intervention services to children (20) in the form of hippotherapy (28)
• Involving volunteers (8) in the implementation of individual activities
• Training of educational advisers (66), counselling office employees (80), and foster parents (70) through workshops (20) focused on identifying and helping a child with the CAN syndrome
